Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
Text entered in a search tool, such as a name or case number, is sent directly to the outside provider that operates the tool. That provider processes the request and supplies its results. Titus County Court Docket does not retain or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
When you email us, the message may be kept long enough to review it and respond. We do not disclose the message beyond our organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.
Data We Gather Automatically
Technical information is generated when a visitor loads or uses a page. Server and analytics records may include:
- The referring website, when one is provided
- Your device category and operating system
- The pages viewed and time spent on them
- The browser name and version
- The IP address assigned to the device
- The date and time of each request
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files stored on a device. They help measure page use, popular content, and points where visits end. Analytics providers may combine this information into traffic reports. Browser controls can block or remove cookies, although some website functions may then behave differently.
What We Do With This Data
- Route a search request to the applicable partner service
- Diagnose errors and other technical problems
- Maintain website performance and availability
- Understand which pages are useful or need improvement
- Present advertising that may reflect visitor interests
No Court-Record Data on File
Titus County Court Docket does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of official dockets or personal case records. It publishes reference information about the Titus County District Clerk, Titus County Clerk, local courts, and official Texas search channels. The website is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports or third-party case profiles.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies power search boxes appearing on the website. Information submitted through a tool is governed by that provider’s privacy policy, retention terms, and disclosure practices. Those practices are outside our control. Review the provider’s policy before sending a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to the Titus County clerks, Texas court portals, trial courts, legal-aid resources, or outside search services. Once you follow a link, the destination’s privacy policy governs the visit. Check its terms before providing personal information.
Advertising providers may use their own technologies to measure activity across websites or select ads. That processing occurs through their systems rather than ours.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal information. Limited data may be disclosed to:
- Analytics providers that measure traffic and performance
- Search partners that process a query you submit
- Advertising networks that deliver ads
- Government bodies or law enforcement acting under a valid legal order
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable, commonly used safeguards are applied to information under our control. No online service can guarantee perfect security or uninterrupted protection. Although care is taken to reduce risk, we cannot promise that a breach or unauthorized access will never occur.
Users Under 18
The website is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that a minor submitted such information, we will take reasonable steps to remove it.
Your Data Rights
Rights may vary based on where you live and which law applies. Texas privacy and consumer-protection law may grant rights concerning certain personal data. The Texas Public Information Act concerns access to government information, not visitor data held by this private website. Court case records held by the judiciary are governed through court rules or other law under Texas Government Code section 552.0035, with Texas Rule of Judicial Administration 12 applying to judicial-record requests within its scope. At a minimum, you may:
- Opt out of certain processing where that choice is available
- Request deletion of personal data we hold
- Ask us to correct inaccurate information
- Request a copy of personal information kept about you
Updates to This Policy
This privacy policy may be revised as practices or legal requirements change. Any revision will be posted here with a new effective date. The version displayed on this page governs use after that date.
